Amazing š
Wow!!! This is the 3rd book in this series and I’ve been gripped from the start to the end just like I was on the other 2 books..written really well and the twists and turns just kept me guessing and before I knew it I’d finished the book AGAIN šNow I’m moving on to your other books and I’m really hoping they’re all as well written as these were and full of the same amazing twists and turns. Keep them coming freida mcfadden your an amazing author š

Ridiculous plot but I loved reading it
I’d read the first two books in this series so knew about Millie’s back story. She had been able to protect women in these books but this one seems to be more about protecting herself. The book was first published in 2024. It has 383 pages split into 80 chapters. In the Prologue there is a bloody death scene described by someone in the room. We presume they have murdered the victim as the narrator literally has blood on their hands. Of course, at this stage we have no clues about either person.Millie narrates most of the book and she is a really strong character who never leaves you in any doubt about what she is thinking. Her humour and vulnerabilities both come across clearly. It’s a very easy book to read and the plot whips along really quickly. The story is full of people lying (including Millie) and it is fun for the reader to try to work out how much of it is true. There is another narrator who takes over for a while, towards the end and gives the story a major twist. The plot is completely ridiculous and won’t stay in my head for long. However, I think the book is fun to read and I’m going to get another one by this author.

I loved this book! Brilliant twist! I really like the fact that you can picture the characters as you are reading

The final instalment…
Frieda McFadden is back with the third instalment of The Housemaid series! I feel like this one was a bit slower to get going and the action didnāt really hit until the second half of the book but it went out with a bang (and a classic epilogue twist) as per usual!I will say it felt like part of this book was just a character assassination of Enzo and I was not there for it. There was also a few storylines I wouldāve liked some resolution for, or any understanding of why the characters were there (i.e., the nosy neighbour with the weird kid). I donāt think any of these books will live up to the OG in my opinion and that book holds a special place in my reading heart š¤Respectfully, I hope this is the end of the series and we can leave Millie in peace, as it feels the story has run its course. That being said, it is a fast paced read with super short chapters, and returning characters we know and love, so I do recommend giving it a read – and itās on Kindle Unlimited šš¼

gripping with so many twists
I have read all three of these books in the space of a week on holiday. Unexpected twists, and a story you want to to carry on.

Uncomfortable in the best way
Like all books I have read by McFadden the Housemaid is Watching keeps you guessing and makes you intensely uncomfortable a satisfying finale to Millie and Enzo’s story

Amazing series
Make sure to read all 4 books!! (I read the short story 3rd and I think that makes the most sense for the story.) I was hooked from the moment I read the first story. All books are full of lots of twists and turns and I recommend them.
