I recently tried the Maybelline Sky High Mascara in the shade Very Black, and I must say it lives up to its name. I have naturally straight, medium-length lashes, and I’ve always struggled to find a mascara that gives both length and volume without clumping or weighing my lashes down. This one surprised me!The brush is flexible and shaped perfectly to catch even the tiniest corner lashes. From the first coat, I noticed an instant lift and separation. After the second coat, my lashes looked noticeably longer and fuller — almost like I was wearing natural falsies, but without the hassle.What really stood out to me is the formula. It’s infused with bamboo extract and fibres, which makes it feel very lightweight on the lashes. Even after wearing it all day, I experienced no smudging, flaking, or irritation, and it was easy to remove with a gentle cleanser. I also have sensitive eyes and sometimes wear contacts, but this mascara didn’t cause any discomfort at all.One small downside is that if you apply more than two thick coats, it can make the lashes feel slightly stiff. So I recommend building it up gradually for the best effect. Also, the packaging is very basic-looking, but the performance totally makes up for it.Overall, this is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve used — and I’ve tried many! It delivers beautiful, fluttery lashes that hold all day. Highly recommended if you want bold length and volume without the clumps or smears.

It does give your eyelashes great length but it’s a bit messy until your about halfway through the tube. Too much comes out on the brush, if you try to apply it without removing any off the brush your lashes will clump but it creates a mess when you try to scrape it off on the tube itself. When there’s less product to work with it’s a great mascara. Minimal flaking

I really love it, I’m getting another one! I paired it with a white lash primer and it was amazing. The mascara is good quality, a very pretty dark purple and the wand is really effective for application. It doesn’t flake and the length of my lashes was really good, very lovely product!

Absolutely LOVE this mascara! I’m in my 30s and not the best at applying makeup, but I saw this on TikTok and had to try it. So glad I did!It’s super affordable, especially compared to high-end brands, and the results are fantastic. My lashes look long, healthy, and best of all — no smudging on my eyelids, which is something I usually struggle with.The thin brush makes application easy and even, with no clumps or spidery lashes. Honestly, can’t believe how good this is for the price!

This is my ‘go to’ mascara for every day use. I find that it goes onto really well with limited clumps and that it really does lengthen my lashes. I don’t find that it smudges during the day and it is easy to remove at night.I’ve not given it 5 stars due to the fact that when comparing it to my more expensive/luxurious brand that I use, the results aren’t as good (in terms of lengthening) but I only use that for nights out or a more glamorous look.In terms of the impact it has it is very wellPriced and lasts me a long time!
